We’re excited to announce our October 2026 Star of the Month: Sarah!
Over the past few months, Sarah has grown so much in her confidence and willingness to embrace new challenges. Her mom is especially proud of the independence she has shown while learning to plan and prepare meals, from choosing what to make to bringing it to life in the kitchen.
With the cooler weather, she has been getting out for more walks around her neighborhood, downtown, and at local parks. She typically walks with her mother or a friend and has been enjoying being more active in the community. Sarah has also been practicing budgeting during grocery shopping.
Sarah had some great wins in October! Here’s one that was notably impactful:
She recently prepared pepper steak independently and also helped make meatloaf and a whole chicken!
We’re proud of everything Sarah is accomplishing and can’t wait to see what she does next. Her growth and determination in all aspects of her life truly make her a star.
